Frequently Asked Questions About DSE Admission & Cut-offs

DSE (Direct Second Year Engineering) admission lets diploma holders and eligible B.Sc./D.Voc candidates enter directly into the second year of a B.E./B.Tech program in Maharashtra, skipping the first year, through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the State CET Cell.
The DSE cutoff is based on your diploma aggregate percentage, not an entrance exam score. The diploma percentage of the last admitted candidate in each CAP round, college, branch and category becomes that round's cutoff.
This predictor uses previous years' official CAP cutoff data as a reference to estimate eligible colleges for your percentage and category. Actual cutoffs each year depend on the number of applicants and seat availability, so always cross-check with the official CET Cell allotment once released.
You can filter by GOPEN, LOPEN, GOBC, LSC, GSC, GST, GSEBC, EWS, Defence and PWD categories, in addition to filtering by branch, district and city.
